HID Input Service |
Description
|
HID Input Service is a part of Windows operation system. Microsoft tells: "The Human Interface Device Access system service enables generic input access to Human Interface Devices (HID), which activates and maintains predefined hot buttons on keyboards, remote controls, and other multimedia devices. If the Human Interface Device Access system service is stopped, hot buttons controlled by this service will no longer function. For instance, the hotkey buttons on Universal Serial Bus (USB) keyboards will not function - that is the back, forward, volume-up, down, previous track, next track buttons, etc. - nor will the volume buttons on USB speakers. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on this service will not start." http://www.microsoft.com/technet/securit... |
