remote desktop without ctrl-alt-del???

does anyone know if it is possible to connect to a computer using remote desktop, and when you disconnect, have the remote computer automatically log back on to the user who was logged on before making the remote desktop connection? or is there a way to make this happen manually?

to explain a little, the scenario is this:

i need to remotely administrate a computer, which is available for restricted use by staff, only using the mouse - there is no keyboard. when i have disconnected from the remote computer, it is left with the "press ctrl-alt-del" message, and no-one can use it. it is too far away to go down there every time, and that would defeat the purpose of using remote desktop anyway.

can i get around this?
