This morning, I went to add/remove programs, and accidentally uninstalled Realtek AC97. I've tried to install it again all day, from various websites, but it just won't work.
I also keep getting the install hardware icon and process when I restart my computer. I click it, but it says I need to install a cd, or that it can't find anything. I went to my device manager, and clicked the Multimedia Audio Controller section and it said that it wasn't installed.
I'd appreciate all the help I can get. This is my system information.

First try a System restore to before you unistalled anything, if that does'nt work
Set a System Restore Point before you install each driver
1st. Go here to Intel http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scri...4&submit=Go%21
install No:4 Inf Update Utility then RESTART your comp
2nd. Go here to Realtek http://w3serv.realtek.com.tw/downloa...&Software=True
and install the audio driver.
Hope this helps
