Hi there,
Im also new to Linux, and after trying out a cople, I fell in love with Mandriva, its amazing!! But I am also totally unable to use my netgear MA111 USB Device, and its getting seriously anoying, im happy to change my linux distro if I can only have my device function. Heres a bit of usefull info:
- The device is successfully listed in the hardware guide
- I get a funny message at startup saying
- The device key reads 00:00:00:00:00 (not quite sure how many noughts but you get the idea, there is no device key)
- Ive tryed using ndis wrapper, as when ever i click on the prism_usb device dirrectly, it simply goes back to the begginging again after probing
- I am attempting to connect to a bt 2Wire router, with a sequrity key required to connect
- I can connect to the router using a ten meter ethernet cable, and can even get on to the internet, but I can not keep this as a permenent soloution
I would greatly appreciate aby help, as this problem is driving me mad,
