Address bar weirdness
I'll call this a tip, with a question.
I use the address bar all the time. You can turn it on by right clicking on the taskbar and selecting Toolbars-->Address. Then you can type in URL's (google.com) and windows commands (like "cmd" or "notepad"). It's pretty slick. You can even make your own commands by placing a shortcut on the desktop, renaming it to something short (like "iis") then typing that into the address bar.
Here's what's weird: every so often it just doesn't work right. I'll type "notepad" into the address bar and it will pull up a browser window that's pointing to "http://notepad" which is of course empty.
So does anyone know why this happens?
