I've ran chkdsk and it is now stuck on 47% of stage 4 of 5. It's been like that for about an hour now. Someone suggested using a program called powermax from Maxtor (It is a maxtor drive). Has anyone had experience of powermax before? or any other suggestioons? I could really do without having to buy a new disk (cost is not an issue but i really need the data on the drive).
