Serial Number: BTRL43316632
Bus Clock: 200 megahertz
BIOS: Intel Corp. RL86510A.86A.0076.P16.0404221643 04/22/2004

NVIDIA GeForce FX 5600 [Display adapter]
NEC LCD1915X [Monitor] (19.1"vis, s/n 42103116VJ, February 2004)

Creative Game Port
Creative SB Live! series
Multimedia Audio Controller

3.00 gigahertz Intel Pentium 4
8 kilobyte primary memory cache
512 kilobyte secondary memory cache

Now I have gone to Intel's site an dl'd the audio driver but the pc will just completly kill the power before the drivers can install,
AUD_ALLOS_5.10.0.6020_PV_RealtekAC97
that is the driver & I have installed both ways using the auto & even just going through manager hitting properties update driver an pointing to the folder same thing will occur. The card is a Creative Sound Blaster Audiology 5.1 Platinum series & using the original disc's doesnt solve the problem, I have tried both ways installing drivers before getting the 2hr updates from windows & after neither way is working properly. What am I doing wrong?!?!?!

You are trying to install the onboard sound, when according to Belarc you have a SoundBlaster Live sound card, this is a link to the Creative SoundBlaster Live Platinum 5.1 driver. get the full package not the update.

Set a System Restore Point before installing driver just in case
