Please help! I thought I'd gone deaf for a moment when there was no sound coming from anywhere, and then it says "You don't have a sound device installed" or something to that effect. Where do I go? What do I do?

Set a System Restore Point before installing drivers just in case

Then go here to Dell http://support.euro.dell.com/support...os=WW1&osl=EN#

your audio is the ADI 198x

Hope this helps
