Yesterday I updated Winamp from 2.9 to 5.3 (or whatever) and then I was going through my computer and uninstalling old games (like WC2, WOW, Oblivion, etc) and I found that at the end of it though I got 20 gigs freed up, my sound had disappeared.
Ive been trying to figure out how to fix it, and I thought that I had a sound card on my computer but nothing seems to confirm my thought. When I try to run winamp it gives me a "Bad Directsound Driver.... Error Code 8878000A"
Ive got my original installation disks (windows xp CDs and my dell resource CDs) and Ive tried to run them with device manager but it won't find the proper drives for the Unimodem Half-Duplex Sound Device that it reads me as having.
