Hi i'm new to this forum but i've been having this sound problem for quite a while now. It happened sometime when i upgraded to SP2. i've read through this thread but couldn't seem to find a solution to my problem. Put simply, Windows can't detect my sound card... I think it's embedded to the system board, and i've read stuff about sp2 having issues with embedded devices. Error is 'Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)' but i've installed the updated driver multiple times.

Anyway, here's my system specs:
