Welcome to this forum with your first post.

When you go to "Favorites/Add Favorites..." you can only see the main folder created on the root of the favorite but when you go to "Favorites/Organize Favorites..." it will show you the main folders as well as sub-folders or single entry......so in some way they have to look different to be distinguishable.

If that is not the answer you were looking for, please post a screen shot of your issue so we can understand it better.
