Just had a look at board, it's not showing onboard audio, but it is showing an AMR ( audio modem riser ) this could have something to do with it, go here to ASUS

Top left under Downloads / Input Model to Search - type A7V / A7V / modem, its showing HDAudio modem
Don't forget the Restore Point
