Before Barb's driver try the AC'97 Driver i sent you first.... Then barbs..
And by setting a system restore point before downloading the driver wont do anything BECAUSE you dont "lose" info/things you have downloaded. so if you created a system restore point then it doesnt work and you restore back. the driver will still be there. But the driver i sent you will work, if not like i said.. its the motherboard (Uh Oh :S) so id go to a professional shop
