"All these boards are the same, it's likley you need to update the Chipset driver, but to be sure the boards have SiS chipsets, go here to SiS
http://www.sis.com/support/support_prodid.htm it will check your board and tell you what chipsets are installed, and which you can update, the one that deals with PCI is the IDE chipset, post back if your not sure. You will be asked to install an Active X to run ( it's safe Iv'e used it myself ) "
thanks for the quick response barbara, i've just tried this outm and downloaded the folder ide204a, and ran the program inside to update my sis drivers. firstly i uninstalled in my audio devices and drivers etc etc from device manager and add/remoce programs, then uninstalled the sis driver. reinstalled the sis driver then reinstalled the soundacard. still have the same problem that it's saying theres no audio devices on my comp even tho its ok in device manager. did i do somthing wrong?
