According to Dell your comp supports Win 2000 and 2003 Server, the audio is shown only for these 2 systems

The chipset is Intel 875P, go here to Intel and update the chipset for Win XP, it installs INF files to the target system

No: 1 in the list, install then RESTART your comp
The driver for the Win 2000 may work, but if not try the ADI 198x you have already downloaded
