I've been doing some tech support with my Uncle's laptop..

Sadly, without putting much thought into it, I reformatted it for him without realizing he didn't have system restore disks or even driver disks for the system board. Someone else purchased and owned the laptop prior, so we aren't certain as to where exactly the disks themselves are.

Chipset drivers and audio drivers are totally necessary.

It was a custom built job, so the system board is generic.
