MFG site is the manufacturers site(eaample-- For a western digital drive-- go to www.westerndigital.com/support... On that site you will be able to download a program for your drive. There are two choices on all of these sites: 1- program for a diskette(dos) and 2- one for windows. If you have windows running get the windows version. Put the new drive on your system as a slave and the old drive will be the master. If you setup both drives with the cable select jumper, Put the old drive on the end of the cable and the new drive in the middle position on the cable. Run the western digital program and it will setup the new driveand ask you if you want to copy the entide drive to the new drive-pick yes. After this finishes( this may take a while if you have a lot of files) Move the old drive to the middle position and the new drive to the end position-on the cable. If your system runs fine(about 2 weeks to make sure) you can format the old drive and use it for storage. Its not a bad thing to just disconnect the old drive and there is a backup of your whols system. Good luck Lenny
