Thanks, but that was one of the first sites I've been to. Whenever I install the SigmaTel C-Major Audio driver from that site, I get like 10 "Found New Hardware" popups and my Device Manager is filled with "Unknown" devices with the little yellow "?" on it. Although under the Sound Drivers tab, it says the SigmaTel drivers are working properly, when I go to Control Panel/Sounds and Audio Devices, everything is gray and says there is no audio device, so then I go to the Hardware tab and open my SigmaTel Driver Properties, and it has a mixer device installed, but when I double click that, it says "Status: Driver is enabled but is not functioning properly" and there are two radio buttons with no words next to them and a "Settings..." button which, when clicked, gives me a box saying that my driver file is missing and to try installing my driver again, and if that doesn't work to contact my system administrator, but I'm the system administrator... *sigh* I just keep going in circles and simply cannot figure this thing out. Should I download a driver from the Sony site from a different country and see if that works? Maybe my computer was made for Europe or something and got sold in the US? Any more help you could send my way would be amazing! Thanks again for your support!

Start / Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Component Services / a separate window will open – in left pane click Services(Local) / Scroll down to Windows Audio service / if the service is Disabled or Manual right click > select Properties > under Startup Type change to Automatic.
