i bought a new western digital 80gig 7200 rpm udma 100 hd
after i plugged it in and started the computer my windows xp found it and found that it was a hard drive

i am just trying to get it to where i can use it to store movies, music, ect.

i asked a friend what to do and he said i would have to do something with "fdisk" or something like that, if you need more specs to help me let me know and ill get em for you

i run windows xp professional (SP1)

help would be appreciated thanks
