Assuming C: is your system root drive and E is a separate drive ? Then do the following , You will need to get your XP CD and locate the folder called:

I386 >>> just to clear this folder name its i386

Now just copy this folder onto your E drive , Then go to >>>

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\
CurrentVersion\Setup

Now make the changing in the following area’s

ServicePackCachePath >>> c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\ServicePackCache

This above is the default location and your is probably set that way already , If so ? Just then make the next 2 changes below

ServicePackSourcePath >>> E:\

SourcePath >>> E:\
