The "Sounds and Audio Devies" stated "No audio device" and all those listed in the Hardware tab says "This device is working properly" I have no idea what is wrong and desperately need help.

But this wizard thing said "New Hardware Found" (which was the Multimedia Audio Controller) but when I tried to reinstall it, it asked me for an installation CD-ROM that I dont have or ever did for that matter. Then it said it couldnt install this properly.

Please please help and please tell me if you need more info. Would greatly appreciate it

Can't find an Aspire 3623 model only a 3620 series see link http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers...k/as_3620.html

it uses the Realtek Semiconductor AC'97 audio

Set a System Restore Point before installing just in case

Hope this helps
