one thing in case you want to know is that when i run 'dxdiag', under sound tab i get
'Name: Conexant Audio
Device Id:RPboot/Audio
Manufacturer Id:1
Product ID:100
Type :WDM
Default Device:Yes'

Also in Control panels>sound and audio devices>audio i am getting default device as conexant..

I hope this isn't causing me any problem??Any ideas??
