Okay, I am not sure what has happened to my computer but my audio no longer works. I have manually go into the sounds from the device manager and install the driver (I think) again and again every time I reboot my system. In addition, I have attempted for the past two days to update my computer by going to Microsoft's Update website but there are never any successful downloads/updates. They find 24 CRITICAL/IMPORTANT UPDATES but as the process completes, it says the following updates did not successfully update. Can anyone help? I can be contacted via email at

RAM = 1.6GHz, 256MB (was 512...my husband removed 256 and put it in the other computer for gaming purposes)
