... The good news is, using WMA sync to copy all the files, the player will now accept more than 50 (sometimes deeply nested) folders without giving a NO FILES error message at startup.
The bad news is, it only recognises less than half of the 222 tracks in my recent test. They are all there on the player, but I suspect that after it has processed a certain number of folders it gives up... or some other limitation.
Looks like at the very least I have to reorganise the files into fewer folders once copied, which is what I did in the first place!
