You cannot install windows 98 se over windows ME. I'm sorry...that's just another blunder of Micro§oft.

I suggest you backup your most important information, reformat your hard drive (see below on how to do that), and reinstall Windows 98se.

I would give you the option to dual boot, but unfortunately, you cannot dual boot with ME and 98...oh well. ME sucks anyway.
