If I were you (and I had kids using the PC, and wanted to keep them from using MySpace), I'd uninstall it [Firefox] and make sure their user account is a limited account so they can't install it again (someone said this doesn't work with XP Home, but I'm not convinced - I know it works w/ XP Pro, and I think it does with Home as well) - and that you (the parent/s) have the only admin account and its passworded out).

If it doesn't work (if it doesn't keep them from installing Firefox again), then you can put some program on the computer to prevent them from installing programs without authorization. Another thing you can do is block (in the hosts file) all the typical sites one can download Firefox from (including Mozilla.com).

This isn't ideal, I realize, because Firefox is typically much more secure than IE, but if you have enough protection otherwise on your PC (good updated antivirus and antispyware programs and a good firewall, along w/ all the security updates from Microsoft's website for your operating system), then you should be ok.

I also have a rather exhaustive hosts file I've built, for anyone that wants a copy.
