I'm not sure what information is needed but I'll post this.

Intel(r) 82801BA/BAM AC'97 Audio Controller

256 kilobyte secondary memory cache Board: ASUSTeK Computer INC. P4B-LA REV 1.xx
Bus Clock: 100 megahertz
BIOS: Award Software, Inc. 3.10 10/23/2001

186 Megabytes Hard Drive Free Space

DVD-16X BDV316B [CD-ROM drive]
IDE-CD R/RW 12x8x32 [CD-ROM drive]

I should probably mention that whenever I go into device manager, there is no problem with the Intel(R) 82801BA/BAM AC'97 Audio Controller rather there is an "unknown device" installed with none of its drivers installed. Should I uninstall it? Also, whenever i go under sound and audio devices (under control panel) it says that no audio device is installed. I don't know what to do and any help is appreciated.

Do you have the make and model of your comp, that board at Asus has a lot of variations, get Everest
