I would love tech support ie help if possible.
Feb. 2006 I bought the p4 3.0ghz intel chip installled on a Asrock 775 880pro dual 480w power supply / AGP/PCIE barebones. I installed a sata 300g drive and new Windows xp pro. 1 gig of new ddrII memory. I installed a used Radeon pro 9800 AGP graphics card New Norwood Micro PCI TV tuner. New flat DVI dell high res monitor.
I LOVED IT Everythingt worked great up until Feb 10 2007. Then graphics card began to die....showing checked pattern on screen.
I purchased a new Radeon x1600pro PCIE card and cannot get system back up. When I try to open in safe mode I get a screen of partition information sytem .......lines across screen and it locks up.
I can install the old card and get it up....but it is now almost impossible to see anything on screen with it in.
PLEASE HELP if you can or advise on where I should look. Buy another cheap AGP card? I have been online for 2 weeks trying to resolve issues with this graphic card installation.
