Hi guys
I have a sony vaio fe890 with windows vista business preinstalled. I recently dual-booted xp which works fine. Ive installed the intel 945 chipset drivers and the nvidia drivers.
In vista i have sound and the device manager lists "sigmatel audio device". But in xp there is no sigmatel detected. Only a problem with "Microsoft UAA Bus driver for High Definition Audio" is shown.In system->sounds there are no audio devices listed. How do
I install the sound drivers?
Also in vista my Conexant HDAUDIO Soft V92 data fax modem is listed but in xp its not detected at all.
The Sony site has only vista drivers not xp.
