Thanks.

Ok, i have no problems with my BIOS I have the manual, but Acer don't supply a manual, they do follow a predictable route, but makers mess with them. usally they are on an Advanced tab, under intergrated periferals, and changing is usally the PgUp key and default restore F5 or F( and save and exit F10, but it can cause a lot of problems if done wrong. Have a try manually installig the driver, here's how
Installing Drivers

Create a folder for what you are downloading

Example: Audio
Then download the zipped file to that folder

Then download and install Winzip
Go to the folder and right click and click Winzip extract to here

That will automatically make a folder and unzip files to it ( make a note of file path)

Then go to folder and click on Setup file and follow instructions displayed for installation

IF NO SETUP FILE

Go to Device Manager, then right click on what is displayed under that (could be unknown PCI device, Soundmax, Realtek etc)

Then click Driver

Then click Driver update

Then it will ask if you want to check Internet for updates – click No

Then click Install from a different location

Then push the Browse button

Direct it to the folder you unzipped the files to

Then click Ok

Just might work

Cheers
