Chipset updated - still not working
I updated the chipset per your instructions, but I still have no sound.

After updating, I unstalled the SoundMax drivers, rebooted, reinstalled the SoundMax Drivers, rebooted. Nothing. Any other ideas?

Also, at the end of the reinstall of the SoundMax application, the following error message appears:
This audio driver requires an update to the Microsoft Windows 98 SE and Windows 2000 operating system audio components.
