This sounds as if the CMOS battery is failing, this holds the BIOS settings when the computer is turned off. You most likley will need a new battery.

Take a look at this, enlarge the picture of the board, the CMOS battery is in the bottom left hand corner.

The batteries are usally the same as used in clocks, very cheap
