Hi, before I try any of the methods mentioned in this thread can somebody tell me if Valiante's methods work for sound cards independent of the motherboard sound device?
I have a echo gina pci soundcard with a breakout box and am getting the hardware is installed and working properly but am also getting the no sound device detected.
I had a feeling it was due to a windows update.
Please advise.
