I've got the same problem.
I've had the same thing wrong with my windows media player for three months. I've just been using real player and VLC player but i'd really like to switch back over to WMP because it's more organized imo.
What error code do u get when you click web help? Mine is C00D11BA. I've reinstalled drivers and everything but no luck.
Try updating your audio drivers see if it works for you, if not and you find another solution please post back and let me know.
