Hi All. My problem is slightly different. I'm getting the message that the Administrator disabled task manager, although I am administrated, and the only user. I tried to follow info from this thread but found out that the 'run' option is no longer there. Also I have been disabled from editing the registry, and my only option for ceasing my activity on the computer is Logoff. I recently had the Trojan.Vundo virus which I have successfully got rid of, but obviously there has been a small bit of registry damage done. I can create a new account, and have all privileges, but ideally, I would prefer to keep my own screen which is heavily customised. Any help would be appreciated. Running xp professional sp2.
