First off. Thank you for letting me join the forum.

I have 2 Pc's a Desktop and a Laptop. Desk top running WinXP Pro, and the Laptop running WinXP Home. And i connect to the internet wih DSL with a router. I was trying to set up a home network so i could access files and my printer on my Desktop Computer. I did not have any luck with setting up the network i got something wrong so i will try again. My problem is now on my Laptop i have another Connection in my Network Connections above my Lan or High-Speed Internet and its called Internet gateway with a sub title of Internet connection. I can disable it but when i do i stops all access to the internet from thic Laptop. I tried to delete it but it says i You cannot delete a connection while its busy connecting. Please dissconnect or close login property page and try again. The connection that is within Internet gates way points to Linksys websight. Did i create this by accident when i was trying to set up a home network and how do i delete it.
PS: My desk top computer does not have the Internet gateway connection in it, only the Laptop.
