xp 64

I would check microsoft site for their recommendation. If you want to do it, I remember when I set up a dual boot system win 98 and xp. The first thing you had to do was partition the hard drive. set up your system bios to boot from cd and then to hard drive. Hit a key when prompted to allow booting from cd. Win xp will ask you if you want to use the whole hard drive, this is where you will pick the partition size and continue to install the first win xp. after this is completed, reboot and test. If satisfied put win xp cd in and when asked if you want to boot from cd hit any key(do so). Windows will ask you what to do and pick don't install over the other windows already installed. It will install the xp 32or 64 in the second partition. Walla-you have both installed. When you reboot, you will have about 15 seconds topick the top choice or arrow down to the second xp and hit enter. I know when I loaded 98 and xp ,I had to load 98 in the first partition, but this won't be your problem. Since you are not going to use many 64 bit programs, I would make that partition- maybe one third and 32 bit two thirds. Just a suggestion Good Luck Lenny
