I can see both points of view.

IMHO, if your company custom builds the computers in question, you would be within your rights to insert your company details, logo, websites, etcetera, under the General tab of System Properties, as a lot of brand companies do, as per the following: -

Modify the Windows XP System Properties logo

Furthermore, I don't really see the harm in creating a new Bookmark folder in IE, Firefox, etcetera, detailing your various company websites. After all, the user can delete them if they want to.

I would not venture over and above that.

Once again, this is just a personal opinion.
