Cool Audio device not working and screen scrolling choppy

My computer crashed recently and we did a complete reinstall of Windows XP. There were a number of trojans and nasty trackers removed. My computer is alot faster now that we cleaned all that off with AVG, Trend Micro and used System Tech. The only problem now is my sound isn't working. I try to play my music files in WMP and it says "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There may not be a sound device installed on your computer, it may be in use by another program, or it may not be functioning properly."

The other issue is that my screen is scrolling very choppy and slowly. I found another forum where another person had described the very same probem and a reply said it has to do with the loss of drivers for a video card. If there is anyone who can explain to me how to fix this as if explaining it to a person who doesn't have much computer knowledge could reply I'd very much appreciate it.

I downloaded Belarc as it seemes everyone is asked to do when a problem is mentioned here, so here is what my belarc thing says.
