Generator,
I had an old Windows 98 machine, and I installed XP Home on to it, and it went very slow. No matter what I did to make it faster, it just crashed and hanged. Until I deleted it and put Windows 98 back on and it was as if new (believe it or not) LOL.
I suppose it all depends on the actual age of the PC, aswell as the hardware and software that's going to be used on it.
