hi! i've updated the driver for my sound card. i downloaded the driver from the link you sent me. thanks for that!
and it was successful. however, when i restarted my pc, still no sound and there's still that annoying question mark beside multimedia audio controller. so what i did next is uninstall multimedia audio controller then restarted my pc in the hopes of it detecting the hardware and installing it automatically. first it searched for the driver in my pc then it searched for the driver on the internet. but i got this "the hardware was not installed because the wizard cannot find the necessary software". what should i do?
oh.. and i also plugged the speakers to my laptop. and beautiful sound came out. just wanted to make sure it wasn't the speakers am having problems with. but heck, it would have been a lot easier if it was. all i have to do is buy a new one! lol.
