Thank you for the image showing the backside of the computer - that is very helpful!
The monitor is on the I/O plate, & the sound card is on the bottom-most Expansion Slot. There is a thick, white wire running from the underside of the sound card (inside the case) up to a single jack with a picture of a yellow symbol that looks like a car horn ... as well as having the normal jacks with pics of microphone, speakers, etc. on the expansion plate part.
I've tried plugging my speakers into each of them, but it didn't work.
