Upon turning on my ibm a31 laptop came the blue death screan followed upon rebooting the message operating system not found. At the same time the hard drive was making a loud clicking sound. I installed a new hardrive and it was recognized by the bios. I figure at this point reinstall xp pro only I don't have the disc as the unit didn't come with one. I believe the files are in the 1386 file (catch 22 huh?). I do have the recovery discs I made from my other xp pc but what good are they.Is there any way to load windows xp in this situation any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!
