3) What exactly happened leading up to the problem
My problem is with MSN Messenger Version 5.0 (5.0.0544), I downloaded the Windows XP version specifically.
I don't know if this is exactly the right place to get help with this, but I would really appreciate any help.
Basically I will be on MSN Messenger and it disconnects, however on my MSN it appears that I am still online or away or on whatever status setting I have it set on, while the people I am talking too say "Hey it says your are offline". Often I will think I'm online and try and change my status, and it says "Your Status could not be change, Please try again later" then I have to sign in again. Sometimes I will be talking to someone, I'll send afew messages and it says something like "The following messages could not be deliever, please try again later" and I am disconnected back to the Sign In screen and only moments before I was talking to them without problems.
Also I sometimes can be talking to someone, and it says I'm offline on their end but I am still talking to them.
4) Exact error messages
Often its, "The following message(s) could not be delivered"
"Your Status could not be change, Please try again later"
5) Any antivirus, firewall software you are running
-Zone Alarm, Version 3.7.159 (Truevector security Version 3.7.159, Driver version 3.7.159)
-Norton Antivirus, Version 8.07.17C
I'm begging anyone out there that might have a solution to help, its getting really anyone.. I had this problem months ago and it went away, and now its back. Other programs like ICQ work without problems, same with online games, downloads etc..
Thanks for any help.
