the thermal sensors are used on the hard drives,,and inside the case also there ultra flat so you can put one of the thermal sensors (slide it between) the heatsink and the cpu die,, they supply with 4 thermal sensors ,,,,but you dont have to use all,, only what you want to use..ie hard drive or 2 hard drives inside the case or onthe chipset and between the cpu heatsink and cpu die. it runs up to 4 fans installed in your system that you can control via the knobs. with digital readout of temps, via the probes. i hope this helps.
