Yesterday my computer stopped loading past the blue screen with the Windows XP logo on it. I'm NOT talking about the STOP blue screen which restarts your computer.

When I turn on my computer, it starts, I have the option of going to Diagnostic, BIOS Setup, or the Boot Menu like normally, it goes to the black screen with the loading bar on it, and then the cursor pops out and you see the blue screen with Windows XP on it. Now, from there it does not shut off, restart, and the screen seems to be relatively harmless but it does not load my desktop or anything else. It just stays on that same screen for as long as you leave it. It looks like this, minus ANY options:

I have tried going to Safe Mode, but all that does is get me to the same blue screen with a zoom in.

PLEASE, please, please, I would appreciate any help I can get, and thank you to anyone who attempts to help.

Try a repair Install of windows, you will need a Win disc and the comp needs to be set to load from the CD first, heres how
