Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, I tried installing the chipset drivers, but same thing... it just doesn't want to accept anything attached USB/IEE 1394 (says drivers all have Invalid Data or just problem loading device). I've uninstalled them, rebooted and let XP find them again, but just repeats this viscious cycle. Is there any other info I could give you that might help you to better diagnose the problem?
