well looking around the 8600f and 8800f are roughly the same price between £130 -145. i would go for the 8800f ,,as its newer model and drivers will be available for xp and vista also 32 and 64 bit i should think. also have you ever thought of getting a all in one ,,,scanner /printer/copier ,,quiet cheap nowadays and just as good resolution and you can print docs,,then copy them. for same price as the 8800f you could get a decent all in one. the Canon PIXMA MP600R is a exc printer. also ethernet or wireless connection for printer sharing. heres a link for specs http://audiovisual.kelkoo.co.uk/ps_1...100052213.html
