Intel 82801AA AC97 audio problem

I upgraded from windows me to windows xp sp2. My audio was working after the upgrade. I was using msn messenger to communicate over the internet. The last time the audio worked was when I tried MS netmeeting and turned up the volume in netmeeting. I have since uninstalled netmeeting and installed several different drivers, avance, realtek, ect. No help.The speakers work when connected to a laptop I have. When I try to play an MP3 in musicmatch jukebox, I get the error- WaveOut format not supported. Everything is greyed out. In device manager everything shows as working properly. Bios is enabled.
