AM RUNNING XP PRO, ITS A DESK TOP PC, ITS A MAXTOR HD(Mfg 2003)

I cant boot in any mode. will boot up to point where u have windows logo and progress bar then blue screen flashes and then restarts. What can I do to resolve?
